J'adore faire mon marché ici. Les présentoirs sont très invitants. La section fruits et légumes est superbe : plein de beaux produits locaux selon la saison et de culture biologique. La section des plats tout-prêts est très intéressante : beaucoup de belles salades-repas. Essayez le végé-pâté...exquis! C'est plus cher que dans une épicerie traditionnelle mais cela vaut la peine! La santé est ce qu'on a de plus important, autant investir au bon endroit! Le personnel est toujours souriant et prêt à conseiller ou aider.
When Whole Foods bought out Capers I knew some things were going to change. I won't even mention the sad demise of the wonderful store on 16th but instead will focus on the relative stability of this store at 4th and Vine smack dab in the middle of Kits. A long time champion of the local and organic food scene, Capers on 4th, and Robson for that matter, have remained relatively unscathed by their new owners. Sure a lot of the house brands and the signage have been replaced but these little markets still have retained their funky community store vibe, their great selection of meat, produce, deli and bakery items and the service in this store is excellent. Here's hoping that what's left of the Capers concept lives on a long time and everyone gets the opportunity to pop in and check out one of the best organic stores in the city.
