My Trade was in the excavation business installing water, sewer and storm lines into homes. I also installed septic systems, excavated and waterproofed foundations and graded building lots. I have been doing renovations on homes most of my life. I have renovated kitchens, bathrooms, basements, roofs, installed windows, doors, siding, flooring, tile, soffit, fascia, gutters, downspouts, drainage systems, finish trimwork, etc. I have a lot of experience in electrical and plumbing, from installing electrical panels, fully wiring homes, installing water heaters, plumbing systems and repairing furnaces and heating systems.

I obtained a Contractor’s Licence from the province of PEI for installing Sewage Disposal (Septic) Systems as part of a backhoe service that I provided. I still own and operate a handyman business, My Island Handyman. As a handyman I need to have a vast amount of knowledge of all aspects of a home. I do repairs and renovation to just about anything which is why I feel inspecting on all these areas would be a good move for me and my business. Currently I am completing my WETT Certification. If all continues as planned, I should be a WETT Certified Inspector In April 2016. Until then, I still offer all services through my mentor’s WETT Certification.
