Boasting a reputation as one of the best bars on Montreal’s renowned St Laurent Strip, Blizzarts has developed its special reputation thanks to a dedicated effort to create a space that brings the most out of a DJ’s work. “When this place was taken over by new management in 2006, a new concept was brought in,” says Joshua Hornstein, co-owner, manager and general enthusiast of good times. “It had already been around for nearly a decade, known for its incorporation of artwork on the walls and for having an open and welcoming feeling, but with the redesign DJs became more comfortable, knowing that the best equipment will be here for them to show off their skills.”
