UVS provides high quality medical care to both small and large animals in a welcoming atmosphere. Our team consists of two veterinarians, Dr.Travis Ducherer and Dr.Jean Pitura, and their fabulous support staff. Some of the services we provide include: Small animal wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, dentistry (digital dental x-ray, probing and charting, scale and polish and extractions), surgery, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory analysis. Equine services include: dentistry (exam and corrections), breeding soundness and ultrasound, lameness evaluation, wound management and medicine. Bovine services include pregnancy evaluation with ultrasound, semen testing, calving assistance, and herd health. We are committed to giving your animals the best care whether it's your beloved family pet or livestock. I was very impressed with Gateway Companion Animal Clinic. They gave me an appointment quickly for my sick dog, even though I'd never been there before. They are kind, sensitive and caring for sick pets (and for their distressed owners). When they thought my dog needed different care, they didn't hesitate to refer the case to a Veterinarian with more sophisticated equipment. I believe my favorite pooch is alive today because of their swift and competent treatment. Read more
