Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. I've been twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic. The Gnocchi I ate the first time there was the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. I actually moaned, involuntarily, taking a bite of it. Bruschetta was the appetizer I had. The ratio of tomatoes to bread to garlic and herbs was perfect. Lastly came the tiramisu. Absolutely delectable. melted in my mouth. Sure it's a bit dingy inside, but they're making upgrades as they can, and the food more than makes up for it. Read more

We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Read more

My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology.
