Here is my unbiased unpaid for review after visiting the restaurant last night. This is a high quality, high end buffet. Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations. One of the best restaurants I have been to in GTA. For the price paid the food is 10/10, ambiance 10/10 and service 10/10.

Decided to take my grandma out for dinner and thought that the Diana would provide enough variety to keep us all happy (grandma as well as our young children).
We had an earlier reservation, but even as the restaurant got busier, the service was good and attentive.
Our girls decided on the cheesy pasta (kids option). It came super quick and was served at an appropriate temperature for them to dig in immediately. So many restaurants place piping hot food in front of kids. I also ordered a side of steamed broccoli for the girls.
While my kids gobbled it up, my only suggestion is that they work on it a bit. Seemed a little bit like pasta in milk with shredded cheese. But, as I said, my kids gobbled it up.
I had calamari and a greek salad (both appetizers), my husband had the lamb medallions, grandma had the halibut and her partner had the vegetable pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The Diana offers an amazing variety (greek salad, pasta, steak, curries, etc) and we continue to go there as our default Guelph restaurant. In fact, we will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow morning with more family! Their chai is delicious! :)

This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. I will definitely recommend the hall to all my family and friends.

To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant.
From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious.

Mango Rain is a cozy little restaurant run by a hard working young couple. It is a small restaurant located on 1714 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, ON (on a strip mall, south side of Lakeshore). They specialize in authentic Indian and Thai fusion cuisine. Everything is cooked fresh as you order it. They have a small, but good variety of dishes from butter chicken, lamb, vegetarian plates and fantastic naan. Their prices range from $9 (lunch plates) to $16 (dinner plates). They even offer a take-out menu for your convenience. For desserts, they have home-made mango ice cream, topped with cashew nuts that is a must try.
You are always greeted with a warm smile in a friendly atmosphere. So if you are looking for a quiet, quaint environment with good quality food and value for your money, give this place a try. I give this restaurant the thumbs up and you are sure to enjoy it too.

I ordered take out online through their online ordering system, which is very fast and convenient for a lunch time take out order from my work.
I got the curry chicken lunch special and with out realizing it, I was going to order an extra samosa thinking it wouldn't come with one because the price was so cheap. But to my surprise it came with the curry chicken, rice and a samosa. Most places for $7.50 you just get the chicken and rice so I was very satisfied with the amount of food and price.
I also decided to get as hot as possible because most Indian places give you a mild at best even when you ask for as hot as possible (possibly because of the type of people that live in this area) and this was definitely hot.
When we got there it was a little crazy inside because it was 12:30pm and the staff seemed to be rushing around but in all that rush two people had asked us if we were there for the pick up order or to dine in. We got our food quickly and 2 staff members (one of which who seemed like he may have been the owner) sparked up conversations with us while still doing their jobs.
The flavour of the curry was great. I don't eat Indian curry as much as Thai curry (for any one who eats both, there is a big difference) but I have some what of an idea how Indian curries should taste.
What was good: the price, the service, the food and the convenience is really great .
What could be better: if it was an all you can eat buffet and the hours of operation seem to be really weird and the decor inside the restaurant seemed to have been from a pub that was there before it.

Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right.

Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.

My wife and I have been going here since they opened about 11 years ago.
The flavours are fantastic and our only complaint is that they need to tone down the spiciness (heat) of the food.
We keep trying other Indian restaurants in Brampton but always come back to Minar as our favourite.
Great food at a great price with an adequate atmosphere.
Great Masala Chai & Nan Bread too.
