I've eaten there several times (usually I get the Spicy Chicken) and I've always enjoyed myself. The owner/ head chef definitely puts a lot of care and pride into his work. In Timmins there aren't many places that are different from other cities like McDonald's, but the Fishbowl's food is a must try!! Especially their burger!!! We also had their calamari and stuffed mushroom entree and it is the real calamari not the fake rings you get at other places.... The food is fantastic!! Recently purchased a second home on the North Channel, and heard a lot about Mum's Restaurant. We decided to try one day, and we were very pleased! This is not your typical diner. Portions are massive. Could barely eat 3/4 of our meals. Service was great, and friendly. Decent prices for the amount of food they offer. Then there's the bakery! That alone is worth the drive!
