A great little store. Like it's sisters in town, it has wonderful, unique offerings in the front half of the store, but it has an excellent selection of regular groceries in the back half. Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer. Read more

I have never shopped here before. I have looked in Thrifty, Country Grocer, Superstore and none of them have Tabouli, a Middle Eastern salad mix. Today I thought I would take a chance and phone to see if Saveon would have it. YES! They do and a lovely lady called Elaine went down to aisle and told me where to look for it when I come in.
