With over 100 beers to choose from this bar is unique. I love the atmosphere and decoration and it's fine trying a new beer you would have never thought to try. Always a good time!

This pub is absolutely one of my favorites. Easy to walk to from the LRT and bus stops and in the trendy Stephen Ave area, its atmosphere is awesome. The prices are competitive and specials are on everyday of the week. It is certainly one of the most affordable pubs out there - serving $6 Caesars even on Saturdays. With live music, too, its a busy and energetic place. Definitely recommend it!

Servicing the business sector of downtown Calgary, West Restaurant is a great place to have lunch with colleagues or clients. The atmosphere is very modern and populated with business clientele, the service is quick, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is delicious.
The only challenge I had was that I didn't make a reservation for lunch, and at 11:30 it was very busy and our table of 3 just about did not get in. There isn't any signage in ScotiaBank (as of posting May 21, 2010) as to where to go, at least I couldn't see it, so you have to make your way to the 2nd floor to enter the restaurant.
Overall, I would visit West restaurant again.

Been going to this restaurant pre reno and post reno. Thanks for the cooking changes. New chef has truly transformed the food quality post renos. New service staff is also a welcome addition from the old couldn't be bothered hags. Rest not with further improving though as to recent visits have seen attention to checkout and bill payment at a snail pace. Turn us out the door when its clear I wish to just go now.

I lived in the Deer Valley area of Calgary for several years and this pub became a regular spot for me to meet with friends for a drink annd a bite to eat, watch a game, play pool, etc. The staff is great, the prices are very reasonable and this is a nice, open concept pub. Tipperaries is close to where I work and also close to home. I have enjoyed eating their food for over 5 years now. I find their prices to be pretty reasonable. I personally have particularly enjoyed their Boxty (potatoe crepe with chicken filling), their Pizzas (my favourite is Shamrock), the Avocado Chicken Burger (had that today), the Beef Dip (had that earlier this week), and the Chicken Club Wrap (last week). Good staff, good food, good location.
