We had dinner there this evening. I haven’t had Greek food for so long and decided to check out Minoas. I was really impressed with the friendly staff and fast service even though they were busy. We had Calamari, the lamb Kleftico and a vegetarian dish Imam Baldi which was delicious! We couldn’t finish it all so took the leftovers home for lunch tomorrow. We’ll definitely be coming back with family! Read more

We arrived a little late for without reservations, but the restaurant had a table and seated us immediately (was a full house). My dinner companion ordered a glass of wine (sauvignon blanc) which was delivered promptly. I had Shiraz. We ordered the salade. The salad was crisp, fresh with crunch toasted walnuts, sweet roasted beets, and tangy raspberry viniagrette. The prawns were fabulous, seared tender and sweet, prepared with lemon butter, tomatoes and capers. Our entrees were the New York steak and she ahd salmon. Both were very good, prepared just right with a light charred crust. Did not stay for dessert, as we were out of time and had other commitments (hotel reservation) and a curfew. Our server was attentive, without being intrusive, and very helpful with explaining the menu choices. Unfortunately, he was a he. Room was dark, clean, lots of wood tones... room is a little packed, but acceptable because the darkness assured privacy. Read more

This air conditioned five star family run restaurant with a warm atmosphere in Burnaby serves the very best dishes at reasonable pricing. The serving staff is wonderful, the chef and his crew are top notch. I have been to Cho Sun Bbq a number of times for Birthdays etc. The food portions are generous and very well priced compared to other Korean Bbq restaurants in the area that I have been to. The food is good and the condiments are varied. I find this spot always busy which is a good indicator as to the quality of the restaurant.
