When Anna started the Trattoria in 2011, she was excited, but nervous. “I was scared,” she laughs. “Trust me, I was sitting by the window with tears in my eyes, and my kids were saying, ‘Ma, don’t worry, we’re going to be busy because we know your cooking is delicious.’”
It turns out, her kids were right. Anna's restaurant continued to build steadily, eventually becoming a destination in Vaughan for authentic Italian cuisine. Anna's family was a big part of that success, pitching in in all areas, working for free so money could go elsewhere, and supporting Anna in whatever ways they could.
