We had a problem with a leaking toilet. On 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS we had plumbers in our home who could not fix our problem. We contacted Joe May 25 & on May 26 Joe came to our home and we are happy to say our toilet no longer leaks. Joe followed up May 27 to make sure all was well. In April 2018, I was fortunate to hire Joe and his team to do a renovation project. They delivered on time, on budget and far exceeded my expectations. They executed the work as if it was in their own homes, from the paint colour suggestions from Brad, the personal time Daniel sacrificed on Sundays, Joe organizing waste bins and cleaning crew, shopping for fixtures. Joe is amazing! We own an old house so "standard" just doesn't fit... Joe is a specialist in non-standard! His work and work ethics are exceptional. His estimates can be relied upon and he's up front with you on all aspects of the job and when he's done, everything is neat and tidy. I highly recommend Joe to handle your "small job", especially if you want it done right!
It was great dealing with Joe. He was punctual and always very direct and practical about the project we were working on. He identified an issue I suspected existed with my electrical wiring and suggested a correction, adjusted the scope of the work and his schedule and got it all fixed. He also suggested some improvements to what I had initially planned and provided ideas on how to make it better, which was a time saver for me. Both him and Daniel, his assistant also took good care of our dog!
Overall I would recommend Small Jobs.
Positive: on time, reliable, overall job was done properly, called to ensure all done to my satisfaction. He likes quality material and work.
Negative: Joe has excuses for anything I pointed out to be wrong. I felt he charged me more than he said on initial question. I still have squeaky floors and some planks are not pieced well.
Suggestion: need to keep word on estimate. Need to let client decide on materials quality.
