I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. I have been going here off and on for 20+ years. In fact I am going tonight (March 8,2013) doing the traditional take-out. They have perfected the art of perfectly battered fish and fresh hand cut fries. You can't go wrong. Place is pretty basic, but you're not really there for atmosphere. My piece of fish was huge and I had lots of tartar sauce to go with it. I didn't run out. I love the fries. They are just like the ones that my mom used to make.
